The winning numbers announced for Saturday’s drawing were 4, 5, 28, 52 and 69, with 20 as the Powerball and a 3x Power Play. No ticket matched all six numbers, meaning the top prize went unclaimed.
As a result of the lack of a grand prize winner, the jackpot continues to grow, with the next estimated prize amount rising to more than $1.4 billion. Players have the option of receiving the advertised annuity total paid over 29 years or a one-time cash value significantly lower than the headline figure.
Although no player secured the jackpot, several tickets nationwide did win secondary prizes by matching five white balls. These $1 million prizes were confirmed in multiple states, including California, Florida, Iowa, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire and Ohio.
Under Powerball rules, drawings take place three times a week, and tickets must be purchased in participating jurisdictions before the cutoff time on drawing nights. The odds of winning the jackpot remain steep at approximately 1 in 292 million.
The next Powerball drawing is scheduled for Monday night, offering players another chance at the escalating jackpot.
