Netflix will bring the complete run of the science fiction series Stargate SG-1 back to its platform under a new licensing agreement, returning the show to the streaming service after a three-year absence, according to multiple entertainment reports.

All 10 seasons, totaling more than 200 episodes, are scheduled to become available in the United States and select international markets starting Feb. 15, 2026. The series departed Netflix in late 2022 when its previous licensing deal expired, with episodes shifting to other streaming platforms.

Originally premiering in 1997, Stargate SG-1 continued the storyline of the 1994 film Stargate. The series follows a U.S. Air Force team that explores distant planets using an ancient alien gateway, a premise that helped the show build a loyal following during its decade-long run.

The series’ return to Netflix comes as part of a broader redistribution of content from MGM Television, now owned by Amazon. The move places the long-running franchise back on one of the largest global streaming platforms.

At the time of the relaunch, related series such as Stargate Atlantis and Stargate Universe are expected to remain available on other services, including Prime Video.

The agreement gives both longtime viewers and new audiences access to the full Stargate SG-1 catalog on Netflix for the first time in several years.
